Who we are...
Joel Westley
After 10 years of experience in the EdTech Industry, Joel stepped into the role of General Manager at Class Creator in 2022. With a passion for helping schools use innovative technology, he’s on a mission to help educators ditch the stress and embrace smart tech – one beautifully balanced class list at a time!
When he’s not chatting with schools around the globe, Joel’s navigating a different kind of adventure: life with a toddler (and another little one on the way). International travel has taken a backseat – for now – but he’s becoming a connoisseur of playgrounds and a master of nappy-bag packing!
Amy Dooney
With over 15 years of experience in account management and administration, Amy is dedicated to helping schools get up and running smoothly with Class Creator.
Originally from New Zealand, Amy now calls Melbourne home where she lives with her husband and two kids. When she’s not supporting schools, you’ll likely find Amy at a gym class or out pounding the pavement with her trusty four-legged sidekick – Jeff. As a former travel agent, she’s a passionate traveller and has explored an impressive number of countries!
Melanie Moffatt
With over 15 years of experience in event marketing, Melanie joined Class Creator in late 2022 and became a permanent team member in 2025. She leads the charge in spreading the word about Class Creator and its power to transform how schools manage their student placements.
With a childhood spent on a sheep and cattle farm on Kangaroo Island, she is a country kid at heart who loves the outdoors. Now based in Adelaide, she spends most weekends on the sidelines cheering on her kids at various sporting event. When time allows, you’ll find her fishing in the summer or hitting the slopes during winter holidays.
Stuart Richardson
When he’s not connecting with schools, Stuart enjoys following the footy, playing (often frustrating) golf, trying out new recipes in the kitchen and is always planning his next getaway!
Jr Pearson
Based in Atlanta, Thurloo, better known as ‘Jr’, joined Class Creator in the summer of 2025. He brings over a decade of sales experience from the merchant and enterprise world, and he is really passionate about connecting with people to help them succeed.
Originally from sunny California, Jr is a fitness enthusiast who is always keen to try new activities. In his free time, he enjoys coaching youth baseball and basketball and also cherishes spending quality time with family and friends.
Adriann Elebash
Adriann has over 15 years of experience as an elementary school counselor prior to transitioning to customer success at the end of 2021. She joined the Class Creator team in early 2023 as the first U.S. employee, to combine both her passion for education with her drive for customer partnership and advocacy.
Adriann is married with 2 children, a clowder of cats and a hedgehog. She is also a freelance photographer in her spare time.
Terri Ricks
Jaime Rivera
Jaime has been working in tech for over 18 years. He loves solving complex problems, which is why he loves helping schools create class lists!
He is originally from Las Vegas, is married, has three kids, and has a passion (talent) for cooking…seriously…his cooking is amazing!
Wayne Scott
Wayne has over 20 years of experience as a developer working in both global enterprises and innovative startups – thriving on the challenges of both.
Originally from the UK, he relocated to Australia with his wife and daughter. In his spare time Wayne enjoys exploring the outdoors with his dog Piper, usually after late nights or early mornings supporting Liverpool FC.
Saskia Long
With over six years of experience in B2B marketing and communications, Saskia has worked both in-house and in agency settings for a diverse range of clients—from startups to large global technology companies. She is passionate about harnessing the power of storytelling to showcase Class Creator’s unique value to connect educators and communities.
Saskia relocated to Sydney from London at the start of 2025. She has a love for fitness, food, theatre and is always on the hunt for her next travel destination!
Matt Arnold
Matt AKA ‘Arnie’ has 10 years of experience in the tech education space. From starting as a Junior Developer to where he is now as the Head of Engineering, there is no challenge he will shy away from. He’s always had a passion for using technology to solve and simplify processes, not only within the team he works alongside, but within schools. Arnie is an avid baker mastering the art of sourdough, while looking after a suburban farm style list of animals at home.
Megan Bonham
As Finance Manager, Megan Bonham brings precision, insight, and a passion for numbers to the heart of the business. With a love for spreadsheets Megan keeps the numbers in check, she’s the reason the business runs like a well-oiled calculator.
Outside of work, she’s all about adventure-whether that’s jet-setting to new places, hitting the gym, or getting outdoors in the sunshine state for a dose of fresh air.

The Class Creator Journey
Let’s rewind to 2014. Two Melbourne primary school teachers were drowning in end-of-year chaos – think report writing, parent-teacher interviews, school plays, performance reviews… oh, and creating next year’s classes on top of all that. Sound familiar?
They scoured the internet for a tool to help streamline class creation. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. So, they did what all slightly sleep-deprived, overly caffeinated teachers do – they built their own solution!
And just like that, Class Creator was born.
Fast forward a few years, and Class Creator had helped thousands of schools build balanced, data-driven class lists – saving teachers countless hours and headaches, especially during the madness of Term 4! In 2022, the original founders handed over their beloved Class Creator to Global Payments, a team with big plans, global reach, and a soft spot for smart school solutions.
Now it’s 2025, and while the team’s grown, we’re still small at heart. We’re ex-teachers, school parents, and big-time believers in making educators’ lives easier. We’re proud to keep doing what we love: helping you build the best classes for your students.
